BT5 + ARM + Droid-X MB810 + usb wifi adapter + comapt-wireless
im currently running latest CM4DX GB on my rooted Droid-X
i have been reading a little about chroot and arm linux distros.
first i like to say no BT5R1 for arm?
what a bummer.
to get my usb wifi adapter (wub600n v2) "RT3572 Chipset" i currently just get latest compat-wireless (svn/git) i forget and then i build them and apply a couple patches and then install them
i then get firmware-ralink or ralink-firmware i forget
and pretty much after that i can get into monitor mode or packet injection (but this is on the I386 and x64 versions not the arm)
could someone tell me how hard it would be to get the usb wifi adapter working with BT5 arm and my droid-x?
thanks
Re: BT5 + ARM + Droid-X MB810 + usb wifi adapter + comapt-wireless
I know this probably doesn't help but i was unable to get an alfa card recognized by my droid running bt5. Honestly I didn't put more than a days work into it but it looked like a dead-end project. The main difficulty is getting the phone to recognize the adapter and bring it up in a functional manner. I think it would take a better understanding of underlying android device management and then the ability of bt5 to properly read and recognize it once android has. If you make any progress please do post more. I'd be happy to work on this with someone!
good luck!
