ok i have a toshiba tecra 8100 laptop
ok so i put the cd in and im thinkin this is gona be so easy. i reboot and i load from the cd then it says boot: so i just hit enter and it starts booting then it stops and sayes:
cannot create union/etc/fstab: directory nonexistent
changing root directory...
cant find executible chroot command
and it telles me to reboot and try again so i did and it alwasy sayed exactly the same thing! please help

yes i used a download manager i have to because my downlaods sometimes freez without it and i think i burned it at 24x or somthin like that
There are 2 possible problems right there. I suspect your md5 checksum won't match either.Quote:

yes i cheked the md5 and it wasent even close so i will try what you said
