i recently downloaded bt final and when i try to boot off it i get:
ISOLINUX 3.36 2007-02-10 isolinux: image checksum error,sorry...
Boot failed :press a key to retry..
ISOLINUX 3.36 2007-02-10 isolinux: Found something at drive = 00
and it freezes
i have not changed the iso since it was downloaded and i am running win xp sp1

any help would be good

Sounds like a bad ISO. You might want to try downloading it again, without any download managers, and re-writing it.Quote:

Did you check the backtrack wiki to see if your machine was on the commpatability list?

Did you recheck the checksum on your original download? If it's wrong, you can burn 1,000 copies and none of them will work.Quote:

yes i think yyou must download again maybe the file is corrupt
