hi, my name is claudio i am from bolivia and i've had some problems when i tried install backtrack in my notebook when i start with a live cd every is ok but at time to install to my HD like OS host the backtrack just run like console but not grafics if some had the same problem i will be so glad if you can help me thanks.

Looks like you're running an ATI graphics card...? I've had similar problems with the drivers. After reading around forums for two days, I think there's a problem with Ubuntu 10.04 and ATI Radeon HD cards. Let me know if you fix your issue.

I mean, there's a multiple other blogs i'v seen where people have been having the same problem, so obviously its not that tiny of a minority to not produce some sort of patch for it.
Just, Some one figure out to make the thing run.
also if your having the same problem, then please register with backtrack and leave a post.
perhaps if we can get a community going, maybe one of us will stumble apon a solution
