Re: Official hello thread
Greetings to the "dark side". Give me ALL of your cookies! :p
Iīve been a long-time lurker, flicking many hours through the old BackTrack-Forums and testing applications and scripts with several Releases of BackTrack as well. But what actually gave me the final push to register this morning? Simple answer: A hot n' steamy pot of coffee and a very well-written post of pureh@te (to be honest, just look at any post of this guy, you wonīt find a single one thatīs not sparking of knowledge). One of the goals I put on my list this morning was to meet pureh@te and his supercomputer in person some day.
Enough flowers for now. To all of you reading this: Have a good start into the week!

Re: Official hello thread
Hello everyone :). I'm moderately new to linux and completely new to backtrack, so I may be asking for some help now and again as I get the install figured out for my Asus 1005peb.
Re: Official hello thread
Hi Im FlyinFitz,
Just been reading lots about Back Track and have heard lots of good things. Im a n00b admittedly. But, I am excited to learn lots! I use M$ a lot and am trying to get away to Linux. Ive setup my own server at home and would like to test network security, stability etc. Im a part of a few forums like R1-forum.com a motorcycle forum.

Hello, All
from Thailand:D
Switching to this as my main OS
I mean really, I use this as a live cd to crack wireless and pen-test servers but this is brilliant. All the tools you need, seemingly endless learning potential and a very devoted community that is more interested in making things work than making it pretty.
Hats off to you
