No I wouldn't really say that it does considering the fact that when using aircrack your "processing power" is already limited to cpu. Unless he has some crazy insane cpu, I'd say he would be in for a painfully long and boring process... even with 2 gb wordlist files.
aircrack-ng not working with files larger then 2 gb , you have to split them .good luck
