Hi all,
i have a notebook with ATI Radeon 5650 HD. It's an hybrid Ati/Intel card. I can run BT5 with Intel i915.modeset=1 but i need to install pyrit and atistream but original ati driver from Ati website cause me a X server error after reboot.
Is there a solution for this problem?

Same problem here w/ BT5 R2 and HP Pavillion DV6-6090es and Radeon 6770M...
Have been trying to install the ATI driver for two weeks and I've not got anything at all...

I use a hp pavillion dv6-3105ei which uses both ati mobility radeon 5470/intel graphics, i can boot into the backtrack 5 well using the i915.modeset=1, but i need to install the ati card for pyrit, tried installing from the website but startx gives the error
"Fatal error
No screen detected"
any fix will be appreciated please and thank you:)
