What am I doing wrong?

First I download BT5 from http://www.backtrack-linux.org/ajax/...5-GNOME-32.iso, then burnt it to a disc.

Normal procedure right? I booted into the Live CD from my laptop, and got this error.

Yes I know this error is from a VM, but the exact same error appears for the laptop. This is very frustrating because something as simple as booting from a cd, HAS to be difficult for me. I downloaded it with Download Accelerator Plus, maybe that has something to do with it.

Download: Direct
MD5: b01a93a916fabb6d1640bd0054428e17<-<-<-<-check this size after your download it should be the same. and download from only backtrack site.
The site you show is not the correct download site.
Where it says download use direct, but if you hit Torrent and use utorrent- download and help the
masses.

Uh what site do you think he should be downloading from? :rolleyes: :eek: There's nothing wrong with the OPs URL, that is indeed the URL for Direct DL of the Gnome 32 ISO if you select the correct options in the downloads area.

Oops. im on Safari maybe thats why but my download link bt5-32.iso direct download shows:

im not using IE or firefox. maybe it shows different.
