Multiple computer working from one system
Hey Forum
I have a question about using one systems processing power and having the information sent to another computer.
for example, if computer A is a high spec computer with back track 5 installed and i wanted to run processes on computer A and have them controlled and relayed back to a weaker computer B. is that possible?
and if so is there a way to define each computer to a set login?
Many Thanks
Re: Multiple computer working from one system
If I understand you correctly, you would want to look into something like vpn or ssh and the like.
Many of us you a machine running BT and access said machine with a vpn, or ssh connection, doing so allows what you are asking.
As far as the "define each computer to a set login" part,
Once the machine with BT is running then you would need to use a client to connect to it, doing so of course will cause the BT machine to ask for your login credentials. Since this is a very simple concept and process, there are many guides on the internet to help you. Do have a look.
Re: Multiple computer working from one system
just to clarify, using a vpn or ssh will allow the legwork to be done on one computer and controlled by the other?
Many Thanks
