Wireless works but airmon-ng shows no interfaces. Help me out here!
I have an Intel wireless card with the following driver:
Code:
mac80211 ... iwlagn,iwlcore
I'm on the internet right now on BackTrack through a live-usb boot.
When I type airmon-ng I see an empty list of interfaces. I should be seeing my wlan0 but I don't.
Can someone please help me figure this out?

Got the same problem here, can use wifi for normal surfing but there is no way to enable monitor-mode.
But I also can't find any information that tells me if the 6230 chipset is supported by aircrack at all.
Is there anybody that can tell if it is supported/unsupported or that can give me any hints to get it working with aircrack.
Thanks in advance!

First of all, this is a 3 month old thread.
Second, this has been asked MANY times in the recent past.
Look at the second post in this thread:

That should fix your error.
