Best Old Laptop
I'm looking for an old portable (less than 12 inch screen) laptop that will be able to run backtrack off the hard drive with no problems. it doesnt have to have integrated wireless but does have to have a pcmcia card slot.
The specs don't really matter as long as it can run backtrack.
oh and for £200 or less
SONY VAIO C1VE (bit more expensive but ULTRA portable)
IBM THINKPAD 240X PIII 500Mhz
Try ebay, always something there that someone else doesn't want.

Runs bt2.0 fine (xp is chuggy as expected - still can browse the web ect but dont expect to play vids with integrated video)
pcmcia slot on the right hand side
usb at back & on connector bay (cd/floppy mount it disconnects from)
note: Just make sure the battery is decent and you'll be right.
3.4 Pounds (No AC Adaptor)

what is the best/recomended processor speed for BT2 ?
