OpenVPN won't work in Backtrack 4
Hi Backtrack Community.
I´m kinda new to Backtrack 4 r2 and have problems to get started with OpenVPN.
I tried a lot and searched Google and this forum for several hours but now I'm running out of ideas.
What I did already:
I installed OpenVPN
I installed the OpenVPN network Manager
apt-get install openvpn
After the installation I put my config file "CA1.conf" into "/etc/openvpn/".
apt-get install network-manager-openvpn
Trying to start OpenVPN I typed:
openvpn --config CA1.conf
After that Error I thought I should reboot:
Options error: In [CMD-LINE]:1: Error opening configuration file: CA1.conf
Use --help for more information.
During the boot BT tries to connect to the VPN again and gives the following error (I missed to write it down, it's not the exact errormsg):
The content of "CA1.conf":
Trying to connect to virtual private network deamon(s).
Error: Line 55: /etc/rc2.d/S16openvpn
Script-security: Binary operator expected
Now I don't know what to do anymore...
remote xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx xxxx
#http-proxy xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx xxxx
#socks-proxy xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx xxxx
tls-auth hoststatic.key 1
#script-security 2 execve
