Backtrack Tools for Apache Scans
i´m relatively new to Backtrack and are quite overwhelmed with all the Tools available in that distribution. I´m interested in scanning an Apache webserver for possible vulnerabilities, but i have no real idea which tool does what in there.
Can you help me out with this? Is there a complete list of the tools available that are specific to Apache Scans? I just found Nikto so far but it´s reports are not very meaningful.
Would be great if you could help me out with this.
Many thanks in advance.
Re: Backtrack Tools for Apache Scans
Yes there are tools. I encourage you to look into the directory /pentest/ further the menu itself will give you a general idea of what tools are for what.
There are also search engines that will help you narrow down some choices that may or may not be included in BT.
Further there is no complete list of tools here on the forums. Using dpkg one can however get a list of all packages installed onto a Debian based system.
