Mac Address Scanner...

hi every one,

is there any way in backtrack to make scan
for mac address in wireless network

any one have any idea i tried google but nothing in there

Also Might want to spend a bit more time explaining what you are trying to do. This can help others to help you.

we need to know what you are trying to do. even airodump-ng can be used to scan a wireless network for mac addresses. it will find the hosts connected to the wireless network if that is what you want to do.

I`d bet on MAC filtering applied on the AP

Almost all scanners (nmap, ettercap) provide mac address information. Have you never used a scanner before?
