DDOSIM v0.2

Na lista de pentest da security focus, anunciaram a versão 0.2 do software ddosim. Segue uma breve descrição que passaram na lista:

"DDOSIM simulates several zombie hosts (having random IP addresses)
which create full TCP connections to the target server. After
completing the connection, DDOSIM starts the conversation with the
listening application (e.g. HTTP server). Can be used only in a
laboratory environment to test the capacity of the target server to
handle application specific DDOS attacks."

Estou só comunicando o fórum ai, quem tiver o interesse de testar algo do tipo.

Parece ser muito bom mesmo.

Realmente, usei ela em meados de novembro de 2009, a quantidade de conexões e absurda, mas usei em rede local.

Para instalar no backtrack e necessário do pacote "libnet0-dev"
Para uma instalação facil:
no shell digite:
# synaptic > search > libnet0-dev > marque a caixa correspondente > apply

Navegue ate o diretório do ddosim descompactado pelo shell.
# cd ddosim-0.2
# ./configure
# make
# make install
# ./ddosim
