Howto? [2 RTL8187 cards ] - rtl8187 and r8187 mouted in each card
Hi,
I use 2 RTL8187, one internal, one USB ext., but i can't get only one card to work in normal mode to access internet isolated from the other.. this is due to have to "rmmod r8187" and "modprobe rtl8187" in order to load the correct wifi drivers, but doing this, affects both wifi cards. Is there a way to do this isolated? Also, if possible, is it possible to create a boot script to get this done automated on boot? In linux, driver config is far advanced beyond windows device manager, and i can't understand how to configure them isolated..
I've followed this tutorial to enable normal mode.. Also i'm using one USB Persistent BT4 R1.
Thanx.

I'd like to add, that I have tried switching between the mac80211 rtl8781 driver to the ieee80211 r8187 driver, and still no luck, it took a little more time to freeze like 5-7 minutes. I even tried to do it at another network and no luck it froze at #Data 8xxx, sth like 2 or 3 minutes.
I own two chipset with injection capabilites, AR9285 - lspci:
Code:
03:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
And rt2561 - lspci:
Code:
02:09.0 Network controller: RaLink RT2561/RT61 802.11g PCI
I do exactly the same procedure, exact conditions, and I can decrypt my own WEP key with no problems at all.
I already talked to a vendor that sells the ALFA AWUS036H, with the same chipset RTL8187L and says that it is full compatible "out of the box" and no issues like this one won't happen. What do you guys think?
Regards.
