Ways of stopping a four way handshake

Hi, I have tried searching for this but the majority of searches tell me how I can capture a four way handshake not how to stop one. I have been using airodump and noticed that if I changed the mac Address of my client to say 94:00:60:E6:29:01 while my AP's BSSID is 00:22:3F:65:14:DE I cannot capture a handshake. Is there any other way? And will my network be more secure having the client mac Addresses like this.:confused:

If you want security, set a 63 character password. There's no way of stopping a handshake from happening.
