You shouldn't need a password since when the vmware boots up it should already be at the root prompt. Should look like this: root@bt:~# If that is the case then you are logged on already, if you want the magic of a desktop then type startx Otherwise you are going to need to check the md5sum and re-download as necessary.Quote:
