Wna1100 adapter not working in BT4
Ok, so I have been searching and working on this all day and I can't get it to work. I am trying to connect a Netgeat WNA1100 wireless usb adapter to my VMWare BT4. I am 99% sure that it used the ath9k_htc driver included in compat-wireless.
Basically, I download the firmwares and put them in the firmwares folder. I make and install compat-wireless, unload, edit blacklist, reboot. Yet the card still doesnt show up. I also get firmware not found when using modprobe and dmesg.
Re: Wna1100 adapter not working in BT4
We dont have that hardware, therefore can't test. If you'd allow me to ssh / teamviewer to your box, i could try debugging it locally. If you are interested, catch me on IRC, #backtrack-linux (muts) and we can schedule a session.
