ATI-Stream and pyrit
Has anyone been able to get ATI_Stream to work with backtrack 4 R1?
I haven't been able to get it to work since bt4 pre-release.
yet... purehate seems to have been able to get it to work.

Am I missing something?

Re: ATI-Stream and pyrit
Are you using the right ati drivers? There used to be an option to install the ATI drivers.
Also note that it (probably) will not work in a VM.

Re: ATI-Stream and pyrit
What are the "right drivers"? the ones from ATI?
of the ones from the repos, (apt-get install ati-driver)?
And after that, how do i/do I need to install stream-sdk?
EDIT, I'm not using a VM

Re: ATI-Stream and pyrit
It's been a while since I tried it, but it worked fine for me with the ati-drivers from the repo. But maybe I was still using the slack-based version of BT though...

Re: ATI-Stream and pyrit
tried the ati-driver package, and it proceeded to break xorg.
it didn't work for me, but it did in backtrack 4, pre-release verison did. (sort of) and that verison was slackware.
