Hi, I'm probably going to buy a HP Mini (HP*Mini*110-1117CA). I was wondering if anyone has one and how well Backtrack works with it. Were there any compatibility issues, network card problems ect.
I believe the wireless chip is a 4312 Boadcom. Has anyone gotten it to work or does it not?

It works with the broadcom sta drivers.
Broadcom wireless will be limited as of now. Look for a notebook with a different wireless card, or think about replacing the existing one.
Hp likes to hardware lock the wifi cards. I tried swapping out the broadcom card in mine to the atheros one from my eeePc. Didn't like it one bit.Quote:
