BackTrack 4 installer can't see existing partitions
Hi.
I'm trying to install BT4 in dual-boot configuration with Windows 7 x64. Unfortunately installer is not able to find existing NTFS partitions, and appears to think that hdd is empty.
So I got this: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/images/bt4inst-02.png
Instead this: http://www.backtrack-linux.org/images/bt4inst-05.png
By default partitions are not visible in "storage media", but i can mount them and access their content with no problem.
Could anybody give me suggestion what I need to do?
Re: BackTrack 4 installer can't see existing partitions
Ok, i found that this bug is reported to ubiquity developers, but nobody is working to fix it, so there is probably no known way to make it work.
so another question: is it possible to install BT4 from console? Is there how-to similar to this: How to install backtrack 3 final from the shell - Remote Exploit Forums ?(This one is for BT3).
