one question tho.. how do i prevent Mysql attacks on my own server? from this all i can tell is having a remarkably difficult password is the only way i can protect the server.

This was very good tutorial for metasploit.

Depends :) you could make only the web server be exposed to the internet and put the a mysql server in LAN with that server. And you need a bad ass password.

I agree, great tut and very clear, but the background noise (PC fans?) make it quite hard to hear. You might want to use a headset for the voice if you didn't already.
