Broadcom 43225 wireless & airmon-ng problem
I have a Broadcom 43225 802.11 b/g/n wireless card on my HP laptop and am having trouble getting airmon-ng to work with it. I mean I run airmon-ng and the wireless card is not detected, any ideas?
I checked out Linux wireless LAN support http://linux-wless.passys.nl to see if my card is supported and the closest thing I could find was this:
HP 802.11g Wireless man: 14e4 dev: 4311 Mini-PCI Bcm43xx green Home - Broadcom 43xx
note: I am running backtrack from a usb flash drive
Re: Broadcom 43225 wireless & airmon-ng problem
As I hope that you have really looked into this Broadcom wireless card Broadcom has very few wireless cards that work with bt4 you may try ndiswrapper but as a person that owns a broadcom 4322 abg-n on my hp dv5 1010us and a few other Broadcom wireless cards.I tried for months to get them to work. Best help I can give you is get a usb dongle from wal-mart or look on the bay for a better supported card. I would say for a cheap fix get the netgear wg111 v2 or v3 I have both and work perfect. Two products that some would call plug and play.

Hi Dromar,
I have also just got a netgear wg111 v2. I have managed to get it to work within backtrack but when i do an injection test on airmon-ng it does not display the ''injection working'' message and rerturns 0/30 0%. Are u able to get injectio working with yours?
thanks
