With BT3 kismet is working, but I have some problems with airmon and I can't switch in monitor mode.
Check your kismet.conf and the output from kismet_server.
When you get it too work. Watch out for that "Autogroup Probe" net :-)
I had the same problem with Kismet on BT4P-F but Kismet from Final version, installed on my netbook, works like a charm.
Aircrack-ng suite also works (and worked) without problems.
Make sure your Kismet configuration is set to use the right port. Also, instead of 'localhost', try using '127.0.0.1'. Hope this helps. Oh, and you could try restarting the kismet server manually, or just dumping everything and reconfiguring from scratch (not the best choice, but for people with time on their hands...)
