Atheros based cards are always the best I've ever tried, you could check IBM laptop if you're looking for performance and stability.
The Atheros card in the Asus 1000HA works perfectly.
No, you can't. At least not always. Some manufacturers(Dell, Hp) lock the bios to certain hardware. Check that before buying a new card.Quote:
