I have a Intel 3945ABG (iwl3945) in a Toshbia Satellite A200-AH5 laptop.
BT4 Pre Final
Airmon-ng = working
Airodump-ng = working
Aireplay-ng = fake auths seem to work (haven't tested this to hardcore)
however package injection does work but is extremely slow (maybe an hour just to get 5000ivs) Injects a lot of packets however dont get many arp and ack requests back.... even after a successful association and sending constant keep-alives
BT4 Beta
Airmon-ng, Airodump-ng, and Aireplay-ng = working, packing injecting works very fast.
Tried a Ralink 2573 USB (rt73usb) and works good with BT4 Beta and Pre-Final.
*note this is my first post here, wanted to share my experience with the iwl3945 chipset.
I'm here to also confirm that Intel pro wireless 3945 a/b/g works
not sure how well since I've never tried other cards, but it definitely did its job
What aireplay attacks are you using? I am having trouble injecting packets.
Can someone please post a quick tutorial on how they cracked a wep/wpa using Backtrack 4 pre final? That will solve a lot of questions for many. Please include areplay attacks.
Thanks in advance.
I have done 5 plus days of research before I posted here. This is just my last option. IO see that some are finding success and others are not. I have my 3945 working on other versions of backtrack, including Backtrack 2, 3, and 4 beta, but not Backtrack 4 pre-final. If I figure it out, I will make a tutorial.
Can anyone who has found success please post their aireplay commands you are using?
Thanks.

aireplay-ng -3 -b "BSSID" -h "MYMAC" dev
