Backtrack-ati installation

Hi guys,

I was trying to install the backtrack-ati packages to execute pyrit with ATI-Stream GPU but I got some error.
I am using Bt4 final and my AtI card is HD4530.
Can you please help me...

yes you are right...but it seem there is no solution for this problem.

Can someone tell me if there is any workaround. Is it possible to dowload the ATI driver from ATI website and install them to backtrack linux?

ATI company is aware about this problem?

You've misunderstood. Pureh@te was instructing mister|x to change his username.
For ati support we'll have to wait for kernel upgrade.

So it really requires a kernel update to get ati driver?

I just received a ATI card in the mail which was donated by one of the members here. As soon as I have a chance I will be compiling and packaging the ATI drivers and the ATI stream for use with pyrit.

Did you make any progress considering the ATI driver issues?

EDIT:
For now, if you are really desperate, you can install Ubuntu 10.04 onto a second partition and use the built in tool to install the ATI driver. Then proceed installing ATI Stream SDK as .deb package. You can find these by googleing for

Then install pyrit and cpyrit-opencl by grabbing the latest svn version.
