NetGear WG111V3 modding

Hi all.

I have here a Netgear wg111v3 dongle. i want to mount this inside a can and run a long USB lead to my window (no loss of signal)

But to do this i need to "Extend" the internal antenna.

i'm a little bit lost when i look at the PCB so was wondering if anyone could explain to me in a little more detail.

In my research so far i have found this, but am unsure how accurate it is.....

Basicaly its saying (i think) that the capacitor has to come out (red), central pigtail to blue, shielding/outer to black.

If anyone could comfirm this it would be very gratefull.
