Why in the world are you all using envy any way. Just apt-get the driver. Automated stuff is always fail when working with special tools.

Is there anyway to test for a corrupt symlink (instead of getting header issues :P) before I go mucking about with it anymore?
Also, afaik.. Envy is just an automated script to apt-get the drivers. I'll still try it though.
Just delete the symlink and re link it to the kernel package, no harm done. Both balding parrot and I tried to recreate your error and were un able to. We were both able to apt-get envy with no issue what so ever. If you are unsure of what you are doing I can post the exact commands if it will help you out.
