drivers for eeepc 1005ha ? difficulties with wifi and ethernet

I have some difficulties with my eee pc 1005ha C
my wireless and ethernet hardware :

• Atheros AR8132 PCI-E Fast Ethernet Controller
• Atheros AR9285 wireless network adapter

According to different sources of information I have found they seem that these cards are compatible with backtrack 4 final release:cool:

During the boot I think that backtrack initializes the drivers(?)
At this stage occurs for a negative answer, the hardwares prohibit their re-boot :confused:

my wireless card and ethernet card does not work, I have sound but no drivers detected the sound card
I tested several solutions to solve this problem
- by downloading ath9k/compat-wireless (I can not install, I followed the manipulation and I get a error messages)
- a specially modified for this pc (ditto):mad:
- a patch for linux, descargar atheros chipset on their site, unfortunately Unable to download at Atheros Communications

if someone have the same problems?
I need a method to efficiently install my drivers and(finally) enjoy on backtrack4 :p
I am not very precise manipulation that I do ,I would restore if necessary

I have a 1005HA-P both the wireless and ethernet are detected fine. Have you verified they are indeed missing and not just down ?. Open a console window & run the command: " ifconfig -a " (without quotes). Then copy and paste the output here.

update: I forgot to say, you may want to go into the BIOS. Double check that ethernet & wireless are enabled.

Like MosGuy says about checking to see if wifi is enabled. l've had a coupla eeepc's that came with the default disabled.
Also, just pressing the FN key with the wireless key at top will switch wireless off and on.
And BT4-FINAL sees the ath0 chip as wlan0 l think.
