On startup, i get an annoying X desktop looking konsole window, and amsn, and firefox and pidgin all open at startup, is there any way i can edit the slackware startup script to prevent this?
(amsn is a linux clone windowz live messanger, for those who dont know)
The sites with the slackware startup script werent much help, so i figured it ask here.

I'm assuming you were using all those things when you last shutdown BT? Cuz it will save you session, meaning anything you have open it will reopen the next time you start up. You can change that in the ?Session Manager? something like that, or just close everything before you shutdown.
