Re: Xplico 0.5.5
This tool is a extreme pain to add to the repos. We are still looking at it. You have already made the request for the tool in another thread, so, to avoid a double posting infraction in the future just add to your current thread. I can promise we are well aware of this tool and are working on getting it working for Backtrack. Its not as easy sometimes as you all may thing.

Re: Xplico 0.5.5
There is a how-to on the forum for installing this.
http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...ng-xplico.html I do not know if it works and if something goes wrong or you bork your BT box then you may be on your own.

Re: Xplico 0.5.5
I use it in the VBox specific release they offer. Works great! Easier than messing with getting it installed on BT.

Re: Xplico 0.5.5
Thank you for your offer I will be in touch. Its actually not Xplico thats the problem, I get that working fine. Its more a matter of there are so many debs and I am hesitant to maintain all of those in our repo. I will definitely be getting it working I just need to put some more effort into it.
EDIT: OK goal for the day is to get this going

Re: Xplico 0.5.5
Great tool, although I haven't installed it on my BT box yet. Paying attention to this thread to see where this goes...would make a great addition to the networking toolset already available in BT.

Re: Xplico 0.5.5
So far it's been working ok for me. It compiled easily and ran just as advertised by the author. I have not implement the GEOip or printing yet though. It opened a couple 300MB files without issue (after changing max upload). I'm going to try out the live capture next to see how that fairs.
