Yesterday I bought an Alfa along with a 9 dBi omnidirectional antenna and a 9-metre-long antenna extension lead. I should have it in a week or two, I'll let you know how I get on :)

I got not the 9-metre-long antenna extension lead, but only a 9dBi antanna.

I'm gonna get a Helium balloon to pull the aerial up into the sky from the roof of my house. The extension lead for the aerial is 9 metres long, so if you add that to the height of a two-storey house then that's pretty high :D
