Ya just like the topics says, the hostap drivers wasn't patched for injection in BT3 Final.
The solution is to get www .yousuck.dk/hostap.tar.gz and replace the supplied hostap drivers with those provided in the tar.gz archive.

Sure enough, that seems to be the case. I haven't been able to get injection working at all until copying over the patched drivers from the yousuck.dk website. Injection works now, which is good.
Thing is, I've seen mention of the hostap drivers in backtrack being the patched versions. Did the backtrack 3 beta releases have the patched hostap, and it's only the final release that doesn't? Or was the patched hostap *ever* included with backtrack?

The hostap drivers in the Backtrack 3 beta wasn't patched, but the hostap in BT2 was patched.
Where exactly do you copy these to...I have a hd install.
I am running BT3 from a usbkey. How do I patch the drivers on the usbkey?
