never success instal bt3

i follow all tutorial step by step bt3 instal to hdd,
at google or this forum...
but never success...

failed at run lilo..

Have you actually tried googling with the exact error message? heres one hint:

I too have followed the instructions but upon boot up it will just hang and nothing will happen. when I also attempted to use BT2Final i got this and then everything just stopped.

Loading /boot/vmlinuz........................................... .................................
Loading /boot/initrd.gz...........................

now it just sits using bt3 with a blinking cursor. any assistance would be great. I am running on a HP Compaq nx9500 when booting in bt3 i can get to the boot screen to select which framework i would like to boot into but after i choose one then i get nothing
