Blackscreen
I Try to boot Back Track 3 Beta from a cd. But if I try to boot from the cd I got a black screen and my notebook seems to be in standbymod because the cpu is slow down and my laptop stop to read from the cd. After 5 try’s I try on my second laptop, with the seams results. And now try it on my PC. And it work fine. Some on have an idea why it's don't working on my notebook? Please help ;(

hiya, i had the same problem with the same laptop, i think its due to a graphics problem, the graphics card is not compatable :(
I simply swapped my laptop for a new acer. works a charm XD
Not saying you should do the same, its just abit of advise!!

Hi, I have exactly the same problem with a Toshiba Satellite 210 Laptop.
I guess I need some new drivers for my Graphiccard, but I dont have a clou, how to do that before booting Backtrack.
On my PC it worked just fine..

Wouldn't that solve your problem?

I already tried all booting-options. none of them worked. I got a blackscreen with every option.
What you mean exactly with VESA Mode?

I have the same problem like the person over me, but I use the Asus X51R notebook!
Is here nobody who know something about this problem I thopught you get support in this forum for backtrack 3:mad:
