Dell Inspiron 1545 + BT - any snags?

Well, I've ordered a Dell Inspiron 1545 (because backtrack and an old P3 wasn't a match made in heaven), and after some research, I discovered ubuntu is fully compatible with it. My question to you is: are there any snags I should be aware of that are backtrack specific. Fellow Inspiron 1545 owners, unite!

I am not familiar with the specifics of that model, but a lot of issues people have is making sure the wireless card is compatible and if it injects.

Thanks Lincoln. I'm not exactly new to the scene, and I heard some good things about the intel wifi card, but if I want to get serious I'll just hook up my Alfa 500 mW ;)

I was just wondering if other inspiron users had some tricks, like special config settings for, say, the touchpad. You get the idea.
