Hi, Im trying to boot my machine from the backtrack 3 CD and when i use startx I get the no screens found error which I can find if required by anyone.
I think the solution to this is to use vi to edit the xorg.conf file - 1440 * 900 needs to go in this file as thats the macs top res.
Did a bit of research on vi but still find it hard to use.
Heres my questions:
- Can I change the ISO file before I burn it so it supports the right resolution, if so then hints on how please.
- Is vi the better route? and if so what kind of entry would I need in the xorg.conf file.
Cheers
