Hi,
[EDIT - ITS THE SDHC CARD - DON'T BUY (PANASONIC CLASS 8 16GB) IT WEARS OUT FASTER THAN A VICAR IN A BROTHEL! used ext2 to cut cycles, then tried fdisking it to start again and it says 'disk full'. hope advice not to buy this P.O.S. saves someone a headache. (Fujitisu 8gb seems fine)
I am running BT3 Final (live with changes partition) from a 16gig sdhc (FujiFilm) on an eee 701. Have been using for about a month. Everything running sweet until one day I try airodump-ng and get:
/usr/local/sbin/airodump-ng: Permission denied>
WT? I checked /usr/local/sbin and the following are all locked:
airbase-ng
airdriver-ng
aireplay-ng
airmon-ng
airserve-ng
airtun-ng
easside-ng
pathchchk
tkiptun.org
wesside-ng
Also, all of them are listed as file type 'unknown'.
Permissions show 'forbidden' owner and everyone else and the checkbox 'is executable' is not checked. When I try to change the permissions and unlock them through Konquerer I get:
'could not change permissions for /usr/local/sbin/..file...'
If I am root and cannot change it then who can?!
I am using ext2 for the save changes because I read a lot about the damage that write cycles can do. Do you think I may have screwed up the card?
Grateful for any help.
